Can you believe the nerve of North West, you guys? Her parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are just trying to shelter her from the prying eyes of the media, and she keeps forcing herself into the spotlight. If she’s not demanding to be the featured guest on every single episode of Kris Jenner‘s talk show, she’s making a very vocal, very showy debut at Kanye’s grandfather’s funeral, and overshadowing the whole event. Classic North.
The funeral for North’s great grandfather, 97-year old Portwood Williams, was held in Oklahoma this weekend and I think we were all hoping that North would take the opportunity to stay in her car seat and covered up in a blanket like last time. Much like Kim not wanting to steal Kylie Jenner‘s thunder at her sweet sixteen, I think I speak for all of us when we were like, “C’mon, North, no talent show today, alright? We’ve seen enough of your antics, why don’t you show some respect?”
But you know North as well as I do, and you know she can’t keep all her baby tricks in her pocket. She was out and about, getting her little ‘olive-skinned’ self written up out the wazoo. She was wandering/crawling/rolling/whatever babies are doing at that age up to random people and being like, “Excuse me, are you an inside source or a family friend? Because I’d like to give you a sound bite about myself for a magazine article. Stop throwing those roses so solemnly and LISTEN UP.” (Yeah, she can talk. I don’t know how she managed it, but she shows it off at every opportunity. She’s pretty insufferable, guys.) But anyway, here’s what she forced one of the family insiders to write about her. AT A FUNERAL:
“Kim held North close to her but gave guests a glance at the baby, who was dressed in white with cute pink shoes on. She’s got a head full of hair and a beautiful olive skin tone. She looks like [Kourtney Kardashian's son] Mason did when he was a baby. They even have the same eyebrows!”
Are you happy now, North? Are you satisfied? Now we know what your eyebrows looked like. AT A FUNERAL.
