There’s No Better Way To Start Your Monday Than With This Amazing Mumford & Sons Parody(Ish)

On the slight chance that you needed another reason to want to marry Ed Helms, Jason Bateman, Will Forte and Jason Sudeikis and turn them all into your brother wives, check out this amazing new video for the Mumford & Sons’ song, “Hopeless Wanderer.” It’s the latest single off their Grammy-award-winning album “Babel” — and dare I say it, it’s my favorite one so far. While the first shot of the band playing musical instruments in a sunlit field might feel like just another Mum & Son’s vid, you’ll quickly realize that it’s not. It’s something far, far more special than that.

In case you’re a little slow on the uptake on this beautiful Monday morning, I’ll spell it out for you. It stars your brother wives! Jason B plays Winston Marshall, Jason S plays Marcus Mumford, Will plays Ted Dwane and Ed plays Ben Lovett. Or so HuffPo told me. I’m not going to lie to you and tell you that I can tell them apart. There’s only one band that merits that much attention from me. And that’s obviously S Club 7. Sorry I’m not sorry for prioritizing what gets to go front and center in my old memory bank. However, for all you Mum & Sons’ fact collectors out there,  I can tell you that Marcus Mumford is married to Carey Mulligan. Because that’s something’s very important to me. Forgotten ’90s bands and assorted celebrity marriage is what I thrive on.

I’m sharing my lack of knowledge with you to let you know that this video’s enjoyable for the diehard fans as well as the live-easy fans. Everyone will enjoy watching this. Again and again and again. Honestly it’s a Monday, you weren’t actually planning to be productive…were you?!

Will’s beard really steals the show.

I think my favorite part is when Jason Bateman wipes away and then tastes Will Forte’s tears. Either that or the banjo barbershop quartet dance.

I have such a huge crush on Jason Bateman. But, like, in a friend’s-hot-step-dad kind of way.
