Kim Kardashian has a kid now, you guys. I know it’s weird to say out loud, but it’s true. Now that she’s spending some quality time with her newborn daughter North West, Kim is naturally learning a lot about children. For instance, they wear clothes. And people buy those clothes. With money. Now that Kim is an expert on this topic, she’s obviously making a lot of plans for her future, and those plans involve designing a clothing line for children. Because children need clothes and people buy… yeah, you get it. It’s just like the time Rob Kardashian realized he has feet and therefore was destined to design socks.
Kim’s designer friend Lloyd Klein told The New York Daily News’ Confidenti@l blog (which apparently isn’t that confidenti@l at all since it’s there for all to see) about her grand plans, explaining that North will be a “great poster child.” Except in order for that to happen we have to actually see her, and at this point I think we’re about five fake baby pictures away from that officially happening. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re hiding her in plain sight at some daycare in Tennessee. But Klein, who’s planning his own kids’ line, declares, “I am sure she is going to come up with a line for babies” which would involve “soft colors, pastels, something very dreamy and still trendy.” Oh, and Klein of course added that he would love to work with her. I’m sure that has nothing to do with the fact that her fashion ventures have earned her millions of dollars. This is for the children! I’m looking forward to the baby version of Kim’s couch dress, glove sleeves and all. Plus, maybe she can tap into the adult baby market and get Justin Bieber to model. And if all else fails and the designs don’t come together, they can always just market Rob’s socks as baby beanies.
This news about Kim got me thinking about starting a business of my own. Last night a fly got into my living room, so I guess you could say I have a fly now. Maybe I could design clothes for flies. Yeah, that’s it. Look out, world, here I come!
