Megan Fox is pregnant again. She and her husband Brian Austin Green are expecting their second child, just ten months after welcoming their baby son Noah. Megan's publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnick confirmed the news to The New York Post, adding, "They are both very happy." Well thank goodness. Too many famous people announce their pregnancies and say they're sad about it these days. But seriously. I think it's safe to say there is something in the Hollywood water. No wonder those celebrities drink that fancy bottled water — it's their special form of birth control. Except not, because by my calculation Megan's pregnancy brings the official number of celebrity pregnancies to approximately "everyone." Except Beyonce. And Jennifer Aniston.
You might remember a couple of months ago when we put together a handy list of currently pregnant celebrities to help you keep track. As you also probably remember, a few of those celebrities have given birth since then. Celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Kate Middleton. You might have heard of them. So clearly they needed to fill in those blanks before Hollywood spontaneously combusted in a cute celebrity child drought. I mean, things were getting so desperate that Simon Cowell had to resort to knocking up his friend's wife! And somehow people aren't viewing him as a hero. Weird. Slowly but surely balance is being restored in the celebrity universe and the appropriate number of famous wombs are occupied. Rejoice!
But back to Megan in particular. The Post declares that she's in the early stages of pregnancy and she managed to keep it quiet on the set of her new movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. So I'm assuming she hid any baby bump that might have sprouted by holding a turtle shell in every shot. Based on Megan's first pregnancy, we can determine that we probably won't see any pictures of the new baby and Megan will continue to lower her annual half-naked-in-a-movie quota so her children aren't embarrassed by it later in life. We also know, based on Megan and Brian's faces, that this new baby will be absolutely, positively adorable.
Congrats, you two! Thanks for filling in the pregnancy gaps.
