While your dog spent last night not not existing because your apartment’s too small, Amanda Seyfried’s dog made its debut on Late Show with David Letterman. Mostly because when you’re a celebrity, you can bring your dog anywhere. Even if it’s a rather large Australian Shepard like Amanda’s dog, Finn. And please know that I have nothing against large dogs. I actually prefer them to the small ones that people put in their purses and their pockets and wherever else it is that people store small dogs when they’re on the move. I’m just always a little surprised when celebrities bring their large dogs to places where large dogs do not usually go. And by surprised, I obviously mean jealous. I have a feeling that if I brought my hypothetical large dog into the Crushable offices, it wouldn’t go very well. Think Beethoven with more destruction, but less maniacal veterinarians. (Sidenote: why did that vet want to kill that specific dog so so badly.)
But enough about my dog-free life and more about Amanda’s dog-filled life. While promoting her new movie Lovelace, she naturally brought Finn to the Late Show. Because where else would he be on a Tuesday night? Happy hour? Yeah right. Dogs don’t get drink deals like that. However they do get tricks. Which is why Finn so kindly did one for Dave (and us!) on the show. While I don’t want to spoil the trick for you, I will say that it involves self-control and a hamburger. And I think we both know those things rarely go in the same sentence together. So yes folks, Finn’s definitely more talented than you. He’s also now more famous. Should I quit Crushable and ghost-write a blog for Finn? Think about that while you watch this super cool dog trick.
