Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult are modern-day love Frankensteins. You know how love has been repeatedly dying over the past few months as more and more couples break up and break our hearts in the process? Just yesterday it was Zachary Quinto and Jonathan Groff, before that it was totally real and not at all PR-related couple Henry Cavill and Kaley Cuoco. There seemed to be no hope that love would rise again. Every time Miley Cyrus put her engagement ring on, love twitched its finger, but as soon as she sent it to the dry cleaner's again, it was a lost cause. But now love is alive and breathing again, and we have J.Law and N.Hoult to thank for that.
The couple split in January, but Us Weekly is reporting that they're back together, and they reunited — where else? — on the set of their upcoming movie X-Men: Days of Future Past. Ah, the good old movie set hook-up. It never fails, especially when one person is covered in blue body paint and the other one is named "Beast." Irresistible on all fronts, amirite? The source who broke the news didn't skimp on the details.
"They started the shoot in April as friends, and then one day they just started kissing," says the source. "One thing led to another and they hooked up. All her old feelings came rushing back. Now they're fully back on."
That's right. One day out of the blue (the same blue as J.Law's body paint), the kissing started. And that's not all! The source says, "Jennifer has been telling people that she's in love again!" Well, well, well, I thought this had just graduated from liking to liking liking, not full-on love. But anonymous sources talking to celebrity magazines are the true arbiters of love, so I guess we gotta take his/her/its word for it, lest love catch wind of our doubt and decide to die on us again.
We shouldn't really be surprised by this news, though, since just last month we heard that Jennifer and Nicholas were always eating lunch together. I don't know about you, but I exclusively eat lunch with people I'm hooking up with. Sometimes my friends are like, hey, come grab lunch with us and I'm like, "No, I can't, or else I'll fall in love with you. And that would really put our friendship at risk."
Congrats to Jennifer and Nicholas if this is true! And if it's not, congratulations on being great anyway.
