In Case You Missed It, Jimmy Kimmel’s ‘Sausage Party’ Is The Jam Of The Summer

Jimmy Kimmel Sausage Party June 21 2013

Ah, songs of summer.  You know what I’m talking about.  Those catchy, I-hate-myself-for-loving-this-song songs.  Back in my teen years, the official jam of the summer included hits like LFO‘s “Summer Girls” and “Peaches and Cream” by 112.  I still rock out to the terrible pop hits of the early millennium thanks to Sirius XM and their Pop2K station, thank you very much.  But Jimmy Kimmel has changed all of that now.

This summer, I’ve got a hunch about what song will define our boozy bonfires and highway car rides this year.  No, it’s not anything by Taylor Swift or Zac Brown Band or Ke$ha.  Nope.  I truly believe it’s going to be Jimmy Kimmel’s “Sausage Party.”  Fresh from humiliating dads everywhere for Father’s Day, Jimmy has come up with a fabulous new hit.  See for yourself:

It’s got the three classic staples of a summertime hit:  booze, boys, and processed meats!     And crossing swords, Call of Duty, and backyard wrestling.  I’m not sure that Crushable has many readers who enjoy a good sausage party, but I think we can all appreciate the creativity of Jimmy Kimmel just the same.
