The major networks all recently held their upfronts and released their new fall line-ups. This means that we found out which old favorites are returning (Parks and Rec), which shows got the ax (Happy Endings), and which new shows are coming out. Some of the new shows actually look good and some seem so horrible that they just might be entertaining. Here are the most intriguing new shows from each big network as well as notes on the ones we can’t believe are still going and the ones you should start watching if you haven’t already.
The entire season of Mixology takes place during one night at one bar. THE. ENTIRE. SEASON. There’s single guys. There’s plenty of hot babes. There’s that one girl who was on American Dreams which makes me automatically like her. What could go wrong? Except that the ENTIRE SEASON takes place during one night in one setting. What would happen if it gets renewed for a second season? New bar? An entire season that takes place in someone’s apartment while they’re hungover? I feel like this would be a really great guilty pleasure show (one that you actually should feel guilty about). Plus you probably wouldn’t have to feel guilty that long because it seems like it might be canceled pretty fast.
Show Getting A Spin-Off That Makes You Go “Whaaaat? But Didn’t The Original Show, Like, Just Come Out?”:
Once Upon A Time In Wonderland. Once Upon A Time only started in 2011 and already it’s getting an Alice in Wonderland based spin-off. Alice in Wonderland is pretty cool though, so maybe it’ll be good.
