I Could Listen To Emily Blunt Talk About Her Husband John Krasinski All The Live Long Day

Emily Blunt John Krasinski National Board of Review Awards January 2013Is there anything more wonderful than two actors in love? Shh, don’t speak, I’ll answer that for you, no. That’s why it’s so magical to hear Emily Blunt talk about her husband John Krasinski in her InStyle interview this month. They’re one of the few Hollywood couples who I can see staying together forever and ever and ever. Although you should note that “forever and ever and ever” in Hollywood is defined as lasting between 5-10 years. Which really only matters if a celebrity gives you a BFF necklace — because the truth its, you will not be best friends forever. Even if it’s Anna Kendrick and you’re in the middle of a dream.

But your celebrity best-friendships are neither here nor there right now. Today we’re here to talk about Bluinski and their relationship. And whether or not you should get the following quote tattooed across your ribcage.

“Meeting John really changed my life,” she said. “When I feel the support that I have from him, I feel invincible. There’s someone behind you on your good days, and someone in front of you on your bad days.”

I hate to get all sappy on you guys, but isn’t that a nice way of putting it? It sounds like something Christopher Robin would say to Pooh. Or maybe, if you’re into more racy literature, something Kristy Thomas might say to Logan Bruno in one of the Babysitter’s Club super special books. Even though I’m over that face John Krasinski makes when he looks into the camera, I’m still harboring a crush on him. And if I can’t be with him, it might as well be Emily Blunt. I go weak at the knees for a good English accent, it doesn’t really matter who’s mouth it’s coming from.

May they stay married forever and ever and ever.
