Listen, I like a delicious dose of schadenfreude as much as the next blogger-fraulein, but at some point Kim Kardashian should just save herself some face and stop fighting this Kris Humphries annulment, right? I feel like the longer this goes on, the more damage it does to her and her brand, and however much I might get a vicarious thrill from watching things deteriorate, it might be time to cut your losses. See, the thing about court depositions is that you have to be honest in them, so even when they ask questions that you’d rather not answer, you still have to be honest and forthcoming…which is how we’re coming to find out that multiple scenes in Keeping Up With The Kardashians were seriously ‘scripted, reshot, or edited’, to the point that one was actually filmed on a sound stage. Guys! GUYS. Come on.
This particular scene was one in which Kim told her mom, Kris Jenner, that she wanted a divorce after only seventy-two days of marriage. It was supposedly filmed in Dubai, before she filed divorce papers…but was actually filmed on a sound stage in Los Angeles significantly after Kim’s filing. Kardashians, at attention! Is this really the kind of thing you want coming out? You’re already casting Kris Humphries as an unlikely hero, and now it’s to the point now where this could start affecting your reality shows, which are really at the heart of the Kardashian empire. According to an insider:
“Kim is freaking out that she is going to be forced to testify that aspects of the Kardashian reality show are fake. Kim has always said how much she loves her fans and viewers. Kris feels that this proves unequivocally he was duped into marrying Kim.”
I mean, at this point you’re already still gonna be married when you have Kanye‘s baby, Kim, so what’s the hold up? Isn’t it time to just bang this out and accept the fraud charges? Or maybe it’s not, and you’d like me to continue delighting in the ongoing revelations of how fake it is. It’s really your call.
