Late last year I fell in love with Anna Kendrick. It was in the same way that I fall in love with all my favorite female celebrities: hard and fast. I go from knowing nothing about them (that chick from Twilight?) to knowing everything about them (she masturbated to Ryan Gosling’s performance in Gangster Squad) in about six minutes. While people usually find this habit of mine slightly creepy, I got a pass last year because everyone felt the same way after seeing Pitch Perfect. Did we even know cups existed before she performed that song? I certainly didn’t. For years I just drank straight from the faucet. Maybe my hands if we had company.
After seducing America last fall with her hilarity, Anna went MIA for a bit. And by a bit, I mean months. But now, she’s finally back in action and ready to entertain us again. Which is a good thing because my J.Law stalking veered into the you-have-crossed-the-line-jenni-territory about 8 weeks ago. I need to diversify my crushing a bit more.
Which is easy when Anna stars in amazingly funny Funny or Die videos like the one below. While I don’t want to spoil it for you, you should know that her agent sends her to Korea to join K-Pop group F(x). At first she’s all like “noooooo!” But then she’s all like “yesssss!” And I won’t say anymore because you should watch it yourself. Fine, fine, fine, I’ll say one more thing. There’s a musical montage that will move you more than every musical montage in every Mary-Kate and Ashley movie combined.
Seriously, I mean it when I say there’s no better way to start your day than with Anna K.
