Last night on The Real Housewives of Atlanta (Season 5, Episode 18), Walter Jackson continued his quest to squeeze the last few seconds out of his fifteen minutes of fame by showing up in the episode for the second week in a row. Even though he and Kenya Moore aren’t together anymore, and haven’t really been since Anguilla (or ever, if you believe his claims about their relationship being faked for TV), Walter apparently bonded with the other guys on the series, so he’s been showing up at events lately. What’s funny is that earlier on in the season, I felt bad for Walter because I felt like Kenya was crazy and he was just trying to weather the storm, but recently he’s been just as much to blame as her, what with the amount of drama he’s stirring up.
He came to two events last night — the first one being Cynthia Bailey‘s husband Peter’s black-tie event. Peter and Walter are friends, so it makes sense that he was invited, and Kenya had some warning from Cynthia when she arrived, on the arm of Jamal Anderson, a former NFL guy and a friend of Porsha Williams-Stewart‘s husband Kordell Stewart. The two of them are apparently just friends and not dating, but in typical Kenya fashion, she implied that he wanted more out of the relationship. That was pretty much all the drama she created, though, as she left early and avoided talking to Walter. And that should’ve been the end of it, except that Walter was standing around drinking with the guys and decided to make some comments about why things went south with her. He was saying he never touched her in Anguilla, which I believe because it’s in both their stories, but he said it was because she was ‘too old’ for him. In his own words, “I like my women like I like my rims — 22s, 24s, 26s.” Girl, don’t flatter yourself. I’ve heard you say that before and it was just as creepy then. You’re not at all that.
And then however long later, Kandi Burruss is hosting a party at her house, which Walter is somehow invited to as well, and this time Kenya has no warning about it. It’s not clear who invited Walter, but it sounds like it wasn’t Kandi, as she speculates it might’ve been Todd. But regardless, he’s there, and I’m predicting some tension because in the interim, Kenya had a conversation with Cynthia where she said she thinks Walter might be gay since he never got hard or made a move when she was walking around their room naked and trying to initiate sex. Of course that information gets back to Walter, and he apparently told Apollo that he wanted to come to the party and give ‘that bitch’ a piece of his mind. But we don’t get to see that. We see Kenya being told he’s there by Kandi and freaking out saying he’s stalking her and trying to leave the party via a back way without being seen. So we’ll apparently see more of that next week, so Walter can extend his fifteen minutes of fame even longer by shouting at Kenya while his much-younger date (was her name Clamecia??) gets ignored on the couch.
In other news, Porsha isn’t pregnant, Kordell is controlling, Kenya and Phaedra Parks are trying to put their drama behind them, and NeNe Leakes is woefully absent. I need her back in Atlanta so I can get some catchphrases about all this new drama.
