Justin Timberlake has been EVERYWHERE this week, and because his name takes so well to portmanteaus, it’s only right to follow Jimmy Fallon‘s lead and refer to this week as JustinTimberWeek. A week that we assume we’ll be celebrating next year at the exact same time.
On Saturday he hosted Saturday Night Live. Then he spent the entire week co-hosting Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. And then, just when we though he couldn’t be in any more place, he appeared in a Target commercial. Unfortunately, not as Peg. (Hey, Target! You should totally make that happen!) This overload of Justin has left us all in the Timberwake and has even caused me to go from not-so-sure about “Suit and Tie” to dancing around my apartment singing it. Now, with JustinTimberWeek coming to a close, we’re taking a look back at the top five moments.
Here they are in no particular order:
Justin surprises and scares the crap out of his fans in this commercial for Target. Twenty Timberfans were asked to sing songs from his new album, “The 20/20 Experience” as a way of promoting it. What they didn’t know, was that Justin would sneak up behind them while they sang. Their reactions are actually really cute. Safe to say that we’re jealous.

3. Barbershop Quartet Sings Sexy Back
Jimmy Fallon, Timberlake, and three other dudes — aka The Ragtime Gals — sing “Sexy Back” and it actually sounds really awesome. I know the whole thing is goofy and their jackets remind me of that Zebra Stripe gum, but it really is pretty cool to hear JT sing acapella. Timberpella? Nah… that one doesn’t really work.
There is something so weirdly funny about fake arms and I just realized I have a weird history of enjoying them. Two examples both from SNL: that Kristen Wiig Lawrence Welk skit and that reoccuring Rachel Dratch character where she has a doll baby arm attached to her head. Fake arms plus Timberlake is a winning combo.
5. “Suit and Tie” Performance on SNL
Did I Timbermiss anything? What were your favorite moments from Justin TimberWeek?
