Possible Reasons Demi Lovato’s Hands Are Painted Black For Her ‘Heart Attack’ Video Shoot

After singing along to Demi Lovato’s addictive single “Heart Attack” nonstop since its release last month, I’m pretty excited to finally get a peek at the song’s music video shoot. I’m sure the video will be stylish and energetic and creative and oh my God what is going on with her hands?!

In case you didn’t notice, Demi is sporting what looks like black paint on her delicate hands. And she is only a few wrong movements away from getting that paint all over that crisp white robe, so please excuse me while I have a panic attack.

While we wait for the release of the video, what say we explore a few possible explanations for Demi giving a whole new meaning to “finger-painting”?

1.) Demi thought her hands looked too big that morning, and since black is so slimming, she decided to try it out. Unfortunately, she’s on the dangerous path to looking like this:

2.) Demi likes to look fancy 24/7, but she hates having to take the time. She heard about tattooing eyeliner onto your eyelids and lipliner onto your lips, so she thought she’d extend the idea to long black gloves and look like Holly Golightly all the time.

3.) Selena Gomez heard about Crushable suggesting that Demi’s the more talented one yesterday, and she got this close to successfully tarring and feathering her in retaliation.

4.) She was moonlighting as a chocolate-factory worker a la I Love Lucy.

5.) She was just busy dying Simon Cowell’s hair to prepare for the new season of The X Factor.

6.) She just discovered the magic that is chalkboard paint, and she got interrupted while trying to turn herself into a human chalkboard with song lyrics scribbled all over her. This is honestly the theory I adhere to most.

7.) She’s been listening to way too much Rolling Stones music. She saw two bare hands and she wanted them painted black. No colors anymore, she wanted them to turn black.

8.) She was an understudy for the Blue Man Group but she bought the wrong color paint.

Good luck with whatever’s going on there, Demi. As long as it doesn’t make me feel like a failure like Taylor Swift’s “22″ video did, I say keep doing what you’re doing. And please be super duper careful when wearing white clothing.
