If you have your finger to the pulse of pop culture like I do, you’ll know that there have been some rumors swirling lately that Nicki Minaj isn’t rocking an entirely natural look. Based on the way her appearance has changed as she’s gotten more famous, there has been speculation that she’s had a couple procedures done — namely plastic surgery. But Nicki is speaking out now, boldly going where every 30-something year old has gone before her, denying the rumors of having work done and saying:
“I’ve never had surgery on my face. They’ll see contour and they’ll think you had surgery on your nose, no no no, look at RuPaul’s Drag Race and you’ll see how you can make your nose look any shape you want. When people see my makeup they think all types of crazy things that I’m doing to my skin, but it’s makeup.”
Okay, great! She says she hasn’t had work done on her face, I’ll believe her. She doesn’t mention her butt, though, so I’m gonna keep privately harboring those suspicions, along with the rest of the planet. But do you know what I’m really concerned about? It’s her personality. I’m thinking she got it enhanced. You know that British accent that she does sometimes? Well did you know that she’s not British? She had that injected two ounces at a time all over her body over a period of three months, right as she got famous. And that attitude? She wasn’t born with that! Oh no no no no, talk about an augmentation. She wasn’t a baby who came out of the womb throwing shade on Mariah Carey…as amazing as that would be. Nope, she went to a skilled, discreet surgeon in Beverly Hills and had a diva lift. Anywhere that was sagging with normality, the doctor gave a little nip and a little tuck and sent her sassily out the door. And here she is today. She may be untouched by a knife, but be really careful if you take her up in an airplane, because the pressure might cause her implants to burst.
…her charisma implants, that is.
