Best BFF Ever: Jennifer Lawrence Apparently Sets Bradley Cooper Up On Dates With Her Friends

silver linings playbook premiere 201112In keeping with Crushable’s plan to be obsessed with her 24/7, Jennifer Lawrence continues to do things that make me want to sit criss-cross applesauce with her and make friendship bracelets at summer camp. This time, we hear that Jennifer frequently sets up her Silver Linings Playbook costar Bradley Cooper on dates with her own friends. No. Stop. That is too adorable. My Grinch heart is too small to fully absorb just how cute that is. According to People, citing an interview that Jennifer gave to MTV:

“I feel like all I’ve been doing lately is setting him up. I was like, ‘You know what? I’m going to save time, I’m going to get you a booklet of pictures of my friends and you just go through and pick them out.’ Because this is getting exhausting for me.”

Only Jennifer Lawrence would be cool enough to A. not be interested in the supremely enticing Bradley Cooper and B. be generous enough to set her friends up with him. Speaking of which, we’re friends, right Jennifer? You and I? I know all I mentioned before as far as hangout time was that summer camp idea thing, but I wasn’t totally set on that, it was just the first thing that came to mind. I’d also be happy to come to the Oscars with you in case you run out of friend faces for your magic Bradley book. Regardless, I’ll still be here marveling from afar at just how BFF-worthy this girl is. It’s mind-blowing. But are you seriously definitely totally positively certain that you’re not harboring some crush on Bradley? After all, you are working with him again on the new David O. Russell movie? But nope! J-Law will not be swayed by his twinkling blue eyes or appealing scruff, saying instead, “He’s my brother.”

I can’t. I just can’t.

    Yes. ‘Apparently’ really is the operative word here.

      If she makes out with him and gets it in with him in the movies then that is disgusting if she thinks of him as her brother.

    Yep, I don’t actually get a “not having a crush on him” vibe here – I mean it’s Bradley freaking Cooper, of course she has a crush on him! -, she seems pretty flustered around him, but part of that might just be the regular “there are cameras in my face and it’s not a movie set” nerves. Also her whole “He’s my brother!” reply sounds a bit defensive if you ask me, especially if you compare that to what she said about Sam Claflin being “so sweet it’s almost not hot anymore”. And I say all that without actually shipping them romantically. In fact, I don’t think that anything will ever happen between them tbh. But I also don’t have a doubt in my mind that she does have a kind of a crush on him. Not tragically-in-love-with-you crush. Just a bit of an omg-get-out-with-your-stupid-pretty-face crush (these are legit terms that exist, true story).

    It must be nice to be Jen’s friend though. :D

    Maybe she needs to worry about her own dating life and stop trying to throw all her friends at poor Bradley. I think Bradley can find women on his own and doesn’t need her help. Maybe miss diva needs help finding a man that will put up with her.
