The Horror Movie Sequels That Had Us Screaming The Most

Well, guys, The Last Exorcism Part II comes out today and I’m super excited to see how Nell Sweetzer ends up. I mean, we all need a little bit of terror in the beginning of Spring, right? But this got us over at Crushable thinking about our favorite Horror Movie Sequels of all time, so we’re counting ‘em down for you. And while I’d be lying if I told you that most of these flicks didn’t freak the living bejesus out of me, its great to scream a little. And in this context, it’s totally socially acceptable! Yay for flouting social norms! But without further ado, here are the horror movie sequels that had us screaming the loudest. Just try not to watch these right before bedtime…

Scream 2

This movie confirms further that you should never hang out in your house by yourself. Or answer your phone, for that matter. And if you still have a hard time looking at someone in the Scream mask and not wanting to run away, raise your hand. (Image: Wikipedia)

Child's Play 2

While all of the Childs Play films are parody-level outrageous, this installment of the franchise is actually scary. Chuckie continues his pursuit of Andy in an endeavor to take over his body, and makes us want to throw out all of our redheaded dolls. (Image: ThatWasaBit Mental.com)

Final Destination Two

The brilliant machinations of death in the final destination flicks are mesmerizing and terrifying at the same time. Not to mention, they totally make you understand why people become agoraphobic. The infamous 20-car pile up in this film still makes me a little anxious to drive. (Image: Final Destination Wiki)

Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter

How can you not love a campy '80s horror flick? The 4th installment of the Friday the 13th series, despite the fact that it was totally not the final chapter as the title tells us, gives us young Crispin Glover, Corey Feldman, and a super angry Jason Voorhees. This film is one of the reasons you don't go night-hiking. (Image :Fanpop.com)

Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors

Freddie Kreuger will forever be one of the most effective horror villains, because you literally won't want to sleep at all after watching any of the Nightmare on Elm Street films. In this installment, a new group of victims (CHILDREN!) find themselves harrassed by Freddy in their dreams. And not to spoil anything, but how about that snake with Freddy's face? Thanks for the nightmares... (Image: Chemicalmarcel.deviantart.com)

The Last Exorcism:Part II

We just want Nell to get away from the demons! But she can't escape...Not only has footage of her possession gone viral, her friends and family are no protection from the evil spirits. But despite the fact that we'll be watching with our hands over our eyes, we can't wait to see what happens! We're rooting for you, Nell Swetzer! (Image: Wikipedia)

I was so confused back in the day. I want to love and trust toys because of Toy Story, but then I also wanted to distrust them because of Chuckie.
