Seven Bar Foundation, which was set up in 2005 by Renata Black in order to help women help themselves out of poverty by giving them loans to start their own businesses, launched its first branded collection of underwear on August 2, 2012 called Empowered By You.
The collection, designed by Hun Kim, the former senior design direction of the Polo Ralph Lauren Blue Label, has gone on sale to raise money for the foundation. Renata said “$1 from the sale of every panty will go toward the organization which helps provide micro-finance loans to women worldwide to build their own businesses and rise above poverty and into self-sufficency.”
