Let’s All Just Respectfully Agree That Shailene Woodley Is The Ugliest Thing Ever

the perks of being a wallflower 110912I hear you, guys. You’re mad that Shailene Woodley is cast as Mary Jane Watson in The Amazing Spider Man because she’s so incredibly ugly. And I respect that, because it’s such a legitimate complaint that’s not at all rooted in your own pettiness or insecurity. It’s hard to imagine an uglier person than this extremely talented, Academy Award-nominated 21-year old, either inside or out. It’s honestly sad that Shailene ever thought she could amount to anything, as she is so. defiantly. ugly. We’ve already exposed Kristen Stewart for the unsexy wench that we know her to be, we must remain alert, trolls!

“Omg she looks horrible I hope they can do something with that face of hers.”
“Mary Jane is supposed to be hot.”
“Looks horrible as a redhead.”
All excellent points, thank you so much for sharing, guys, and for not allowing yourself to be distracted by her perfect skin, beautiful eyes, or shiny hair, this girl is a major uggo. Mary Jane was not a comic book character created by a pen against paper, but instead a real person in real life, and we dishonor her memory by casting an ugly person to portray her. Especially when everyone knows that Mary Jane was MURDERED in real life by an ugly person! How insensitive! That would be like hiring a car to play your dog in a movie where your dog is killed by being hit by a car. An ugly car. I mean I would watch that movie just to see how it goes, but I would be very indignant the whole time, DON’T WORRY.
Honestly I’m just glad that the people making these comments from their dimly lit hobbit holes didn’t take a second to realize that Shailene wasn’t in hair or makeup yet and was just walking around on set…because it shouldn’t matter! We all made a personal agreement that no one except for identical blond and blue-eyed supermodels are allowed to be successful in this world. This is why I am not allowed to be employed and am instead writing this while chained to a pole in Heidi Klum‘s basement. I’m attractive enough to fetch her night slippers but not attractive enough to deserve your respect, nor is Shailene, so just keep up the good work, everybody.

      You will have to forgive people for expecting Mary Jane Watson and geting two extreams of orange makeup and goofy expression, and the makeupless monster neck photo. These are the pictures the put out and they are funny.

      Like i ranted below (sorry about that) it is relevant to the character. If they cast Neville long Bottom Crabbe or Goyle instead of Cedric Diggary in twilight. It wouldn’t matter? It would have made every dollar?

      There is nothing wrong with how those gentlemen look and the actor playing Neville improved in superficial looks. That is a case were looks wouldnt matter, unless she is that superficial and his looks are all the interest she had in him. How would twilight readers respond to the first look of edward being not only Neville but Neville makeing a goofy face or about to sneeze.

    Actualy in this case her being highly attractive is relevant to the character.

    All to often we have abnormally atractive women cast in roles were it dosnt matter how they look. Most of the time those ladies cannot act, or do so poorly. Another more talented actress could have improved the film and, sadly, probably gets paid less.

    This isnt a hidious ugly girl by any stretch . She isnt a beautiful girl even in the world outside holywood you can see a more atractive girl on any city street. Anyone seriously making either of those extream claims is buying into their own B.S..

    In the case of this character in this story her over the top beauty is relevant. To her own personality and story and the relationships with those around her.

    Negatively in her relation ship to harry, who wouldn’t have interest otherwise. He also wouldn’t take the girl in those pictures home to Norman who would mince no words in asking if she has brains to make up for looks. If you think internet trolls are bad imagine a scene of anything less than perfect presented to an elitist goblin.
    Positively in the case of peter parker. Who, and this may not aound positive at first, turns her down for gwen stacy perhaps attractive but more important to him a better person morally . She learns a hard lesson that her looks dont get her everything and that she is more than her looks, she uses he looks as a front to had problems. And after the loss of gwen when she is with peter she knows it isn’t only for the way she looks

    i dont care about how pretty or not she is, the fact for me is that she’s been mis cast – she does not look or sound like how id like MJ to be , she kind of reminds me of my little sister

She is more sucessful than any of you will every be if you keep talking like this. life is too god damn short to be judging people. how about you all look in the mirror!! everyone has their own imperfections, but it makes them who they are, and why would you want to change that? instead of sitting on your computer all day and judging everyone based how they look, how about you go outside and argue about the important issues that are happening.
