According to new statements, Kristen Stewart ‘regrets’ her affair with her Snow White And The Hunstman director Rupert Sanders. So wait, you mean to tell me that an actress might regret the cheating scandal that effectively ended her career and her relationship with Robert Pattinson? This is entirely new information for me. I’m bamboozled. But apparently good old Rupert doesn’t feel the same way, as he’s been trying to get in touch with Kristen ever since his divorce from Liberty Ross went through. According to Radar Online:
“Rupert’s reached out to Kristen, but she doesn’t want anything to do with him. He texted her a number of times after Liberty filed for divorce, however Kristen didn’t respond. In truth, she regrets ever getting involved with Rupert, because of how much it hurt Robert and the amount of public backlash she was subjected to.”
Well yeah, I mean, that’s kind of an understatement. Even though Crushable’s theory is that this whole cheating scandal was manufactured to promote Twilight and give KStew and RPatz a non-suspicious way to end their fake relationship, this is still a really odd comment to make. If she really was involved with him, of course she regrets it, even on a simple morality level, but also because of the fact that she’s actually less cast-able in the wak eof all this. It it was a ploy for publicity, it got way out of control, and if it wasn’t, I can’t believe that you were foolish enough to canoodle in front of the Hollywood sign with your married director. Please regret that. And I’m sure you do, because our most recent sighting of you was limping sadly through the Oscars alone, with only your rabid, terrifying fans to stand up for her on the internet; Rob miles away filming, your relationship up in the air:
“Kristen doesn’t really know what’s going on with her and Robert at the moment, and she’s been left in limbo. Ideally, she would like things to go back to how they once were, but that’s proving a lot more difficult than she imagined. But when it comes to Rupert, that ship has sailed.”
Well hopefully next time it’ll sail a little sooner. Like last summer, when all this happened. Or ideally, the first time you look at Rupert Sanders in the face and find him attractive. That would be a good time for a ship to sail. Just saying.
