We’re About To Get Up Close And Personal With Kim Kardashian’s Uterus, Ya’ll

Kim Kardashian departs her homeSavor this breath of air in your lungs right now, guys, because this is that moment when we all get to privately exult in the beautiful karmic retribution that is Kim Kardashian‘s life. As you probably all remember, even if she doesn’t, Kim is currently embroiled in a divorce from her husband of 72 happily married days and 486 unhappily married days, Kris Humphries. Kris wants an annulment on the grounds that Kim committed fraud by using their marriage for personal gain, aka to increase viewership on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Kim doesn’t want to admit that, and has even gone so far as to offer Kris a $10 million settlement to make this all go away…which Kris turned down because, c’mon girl, he’s got that NBA money and he’s probably right. But Kim’s got a crack team of lawyers — I mean, c’mon, her father got O.J. Simpson off the hook — and she’s not going down without a fight, so this should be a bumpy ride.

Except that Kim’s not being super careful about what she puts out there. And especially because she’s on a reality show and an incredibly high-profile relationship with Kanye West, what she puts out there is…everything. For example, the fact that she made so much noise about her supposed fertility problems is kind of an issue. Here’s what she said on an episode of KUWTK that aired earlier this year:

“I’m 31, and my egg levels came back as a woman that’s in her 50s. I’m concerned just hearing all this information of how every woman is born with a certain amount of eggs, and that number can never be increased. Maybe this just isn’t in the cards for me, and I’m freaking out a little bit.”

But as has become obvious by her…um…pregnancy, it seems like she may have exaggerated those problems just the teensiest bit, either to bond with sister Khloe Kardashian or, more likely, to bump up the drama on the show. And yet, as a source tells Radar Online:

“Kim’s supposed fertility problems were no where near as dire as she made them out to be. Yes, her estrogen levels were low, but she had been on the pill for a very, very long time. She was in a healthy normal range though, given she had been on birth control. Kim’s doctor assured her that once she had been off the pill for a few months she shouldn’t have any issues conceiving. Kim absolutely does not have fertility issues like Khloe.”

Okay, so she exaggerated, but no big deal, right? Wrong. Kris’ lawyers are apparently planning on making a connection between the inflating of those claims to the inflating of her relationship with Kris:

“Kim is going to be grilled over the claims she made by Kris’ attorney at her upcoming deposition, because they believe this goes to the core of their case against her — that’s she’s willing to lie and manipulate the truth for the sake of her career. This could seriously damage Kim’s credibility and bolster Kris’ case that he was duped into marrying her.”

Well damn, girl. I’m no lawyer, but that actually sounds like a reasonable connection to me. And regardless, you might want to cool it on the reality TV revelations for a little bit unless you want a room full of guys in suits digging through the records on your uterus. As exciting as that admittedly does sound.
