Maybe I’m Weird, But Ben Affleck’s Daughter Writing On His Hand Makes Me Want Babies, Like Now

65th Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards (DAG)May I have babies now?

I’m thinking that’s a pretty typical response to Ben Affleck‘s hand at the Director’s Guild Awards last night, no? Ever since Ben sported a similar message to the Critic’s Choice Awards and won, Ben has clearly decided to give Violet and Seraphina (who knows maybe even Samuel, wouldn’t be surprised if Bennifer had a baby genius) free reign with the markers – “My daughter wrote my name on my hand for luck,” he said in his Critic’s Choice acceptance speech. “I don’t know how that works, but I guess it worked, so you can look forward to seeing more of this!” And why wouldn’t he?

Come on, wouldn’t you like to have a munchkin of your very own to write adorable messages on your hands when you’re up for a prestigious award? What about when you’re having a rough day? You sit there and tell me a five year old writing “I love you!” on your hand wouldn’t turn that right around. Do it. You won’t.

Given that I’ve only recently given up the dream of actually being one of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s children, the only logical back up plan is having some that I can hope will be half as cute.

Ben Affleck and daughters Violet and Seraphina hunt for healthy snacks at the farmers market in Los AngelesSigh. A girl can dream.
