I think it’s safe to say that Mean Girls is the voice of a generation. Long before Lena Dunham‘s Hannah Horvath was dubbing herself that very thing, Mean Girls came, it saw, and it conquered. It came out nearly a decade ago, and yet I don’t know any female or gay man between the ages of 20 and 30 who doesn’t count it as one of their favorite movies of all time. Because it’s amazing.
Since it’s also one of the most highly-quotable movies ever, it’s spawned countless memes and parody Tumblr accounts. Back in December, we found “Mean Girls of Capitol Hill” and we weren’t disappointed. You’d think the Mean Girls jabs and jokes would be getting old by now, but I assure you…THEY ARE NOT. It’s one of those rare, well-written, well-acted movies that will always be funny. And another reason I am hopelessly in love/unhealthily obsessed with Tina Fey.
So, without further suspense, here are some of my favorite gems from “Les Mis Mean Girls.”
