Fans Will Join Beyonce On Stage At The Super Bowl, Hopefully In A Mass ‘Single Ladies’ Dance

Beyonce Will Dance With Fans At Super Bowl

For all the girls out there who perfected the “put a ring on it” hand move and watched “Single Ladies” on repeat trying to figure out how Beyonce was able to crouch down in sky-high heels and then get up again, this is your chance. Pepsi is hosting a contest for fans to win the opportunity to dance with Sasha Fierce herself when she performs at the Super Bowl halftime show on February 3 in New Orleans.

Fans can enter by uploading photos of themselves doing Beyonce’s signature moves. I predict a lot of men in black leotards, and the anticipation is killing me. 50 lucky fans and their plus-ones will be invited to join Beyonce during her performance, and some of the photo entries will be included in a commercial to air during the telecast.

You can start submitting your photos this Saturday, so get that outfit on and start practicing. If you want to appear onstage, you have to submit your photos by January 11, but if you’re happy just seeing your dancing self on TV, you have until January 19 to be included in the commercial.

This is all part of Beyonce’s deal with Pepsi, which also involves putting her face on cans of the soda, which is pretty cool but will also probably make me feel like she’s judging me with those fierce eyes for drinking Pepsi instead of water or coconut milk or whatever celebs drink.

I’m a bigger fan of the Puppy Bowl than I am of the Super Bowl, but if this contest means I might be able to watch 100 fabulous Beyonce fans (because you know they’ll be fab) do the “Single Ladies” dance, led by Beyonce herself, I guess I’ll become a football watcher for one day in 2013.

Or, you know, maybe I’ll be there on stage with her, shocking all my friends with the dance skills I’ve been hiding all these years. I haven’t decided yet.

This is going to be a fun halftime show. I’m also anticipating the many Sasha Fierce types of fans that get chosen to join Queen Bey. This is going to be quite the show and I agree with you, I’m not a big football fan, but I’ll be watching for this halftime show. My DISH coworker first told me about this halftime show. My guests and I will be watching on my DISH Hopper. We’ll be able to start watching it live on my living room TV and then continue watching on my family room TV right where I left off. This way no one will miss a beat!
