From the very beginning of the ill-fated Harry Styles and Taylor Swift love affair, we suspected the two weren’t really in love. In fact, we weren’t even sure if they were in like. It just seemed too convenient.
After getting a reputation for being a playboy who only dated married women, Harry Styles got to clean up his act by dating America’s good girl. Taylor Swift, on the other hand, got to prove to critics that she’s not all sunshine and glitter. After all, would someone who only loved rainbows and cupcakes really date the bad British boy who openly destroy marriages?!
It’s a PR win-win for both them. And I’m not the only one who thinks that’s true. Lots of commenters on BlindGossip.com believe that the recent item about a new PR couple who’s bound to break up soon is about them.
We also know that the relationship is completely fake and won’t last much longer.
The paparazzi are notified whenever they are on the move so they can be photographed holding hands and looking like a couple.
All the hand-holding and party kissing is totally staged. They don’t really care about each other… but they both sure know how to play the publicity game! They also know that they can never, ever admit that the whole relationship is a publicity stunt.
And here’s a fact that will either trouble fans or leave them greatly relieved: They aren’t really spending the night together! They walk into the front door of her hotel holding hands, but he only spends a few minutes with her. He spends the night at his own place, and then meets up with her the next morning when they are ready to leave. The couple then leaves the hotel through the front door a couple a minutes apart to make it look like they spent the night together.
The relationship is scheduled to be a very short one. They may ring in the New Year as a couple… but they won’t make it to Valentine’s Day.
From the hand-holding photos to the “oops, you caught us leaving the same hotel” photos, all the clues fit. Of course, it’s a blind item. Who knows if it’s true. But even if it’s not, there’s a lot more evidence besides this small tidbit.
For example, this photo of them doing moves from Dirty Dancing. No one does this in real life. I took a survey of everyone human being in the world, and they all agree, real-life couples don’t no-one-puts-baby-in-the-corner without ulterior motives. Something else real-life couples don’t do when they first start dating? Show up to a very public zoo holding a baby. In fact, I’d say that screams “take a photo of us!”
They’re looking for attention and they’re looking for publicity and they’re clearly doing whatever it takes to get it. The question is who will get to sing the first song after they break-up. While this could launch Harry Styles’ solo career, I think it could also provide us with another Taylor Swift love ballad to belt out when we’re drunk.
Or maybe, just maybe, we could be lucky enough to get both.
