The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Brandi Glanville is My Hero

When we last left the women of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Vanderpump and Adrienne Maloof were ready to sit down and hash out all the drama that has been circling around these two. And while that’s all well and good and it’s always a swell moment when housewives “clear the air” (and I’m happy that they sort of worked things out), I am way more interested in the hilarious hatred between Kim Richards and Brandi Glanville. For one, I am semi-obsessed with Brandi. I guess it’s just because she 1) is obviously a resilient woman after getting her heart ripped out by her ex-husbands and 2) is not afraid to say whatever is on her mind. She speaks up. She fights back. I dig it. Brandi is feisty and overly sexual and drop dead gorgeous. She is basically what I would want my alter ego to be like if I had one.

Brandi has a meeting with her literary agent because (get this!) she’s writing a book about her divorce. Apparently her proposal for the book went over quite well because she was insanely funny and insanely honest. She writes about how she was on antidepressants, cried all day, f**ked too many men, and partied a lot. Does anyone else want to read this book right away? Because I do. Brandi seems a little more real than all the other housewives. Maybe that’s because she doesn’t give a you-know-what about what people think about her or maybe it’s just because the other women seem a bit more rehearsed. All I know is that Brandi is in the running for my favorite housewife this season.

In other news, Kim has organized a trip for the ladies to Ojai, California. Who is this new Kim? Kim is always the one who is late and absent and wasted. Maybe rehab really did do her some good. Or maybe she’ll organize this whole thing and not show up. Now that would be entertainment. I’m happy to see her sober and well, but since Lisa invited Brandi to this get together, things might get a little awkward. Kim seems ready to mend the broken pieces between her and Brandi.

Sidenote: Thank you Camille Grammar for 1) existing and 2) talking about penises.

Anyway, back to the Ojai trip! When Lisa and Brandi show up fashionably late, there is a little bit of tension between Kim and Brandi. Kim and she do a little kissy-kissy and they seem to be both trying to make an effort. Everyone is freaking out about sharing rooms and room assignments. Never the mind that they are staying in a giant mansion in the mountains, it’s an outrageous suggestion to share a room. Brandi and Lisa get put together in a room with two tiny twin beds (and they are actually pretty hilarious together). The women sit down to a gorgeous dinner and Kim and Brandi are right across the table from one another. The wine starts pouring and so does the word vomit from everyone at the table. Gossip is flying about Brandi’s ex and questionable motives. Then Brandi starts a conversation with Kim about her daughters. She has nothing but nice things to say about Kim’s daughters, which is Brandi’s way of extending an olive branch. Kim starts to get a bit emotional as she and Brandi continue to talk about their lives. Only to have the whole thing ruined by Adrienne’s call of attention to Kim’s tears.

And then Brandi continues to show me why she is slowly becoming my favorite. She tells Adrienne to “shut the f**k up”! She’s right to call her on that. I’d be annoyed too. Why does everyone have to be called to the attention of the group? Adrienne seems to be speechless by Brandi’s outburst.

Some may say that Brandi is too crass and too loud, but I like her and I think that she deserves a fair chance. #teambrandi

First this ‘reality show’ is ridiculous and secondly what is cool about a woman who only goal in life is seeking from her PAST relationship with her ex, a famous actor who had to work to become a famous person, known for his acting work unlike her ? A book about her divorce seriously ??? Lmaooooooo these women are pathetic, it is not fun to watch it is sad but enjoy !

There is no reason to take this
show or any other show on Bravo seriously that is the point it is a break from
all the tragedy that surrounds us, and watching these women act silly and out
of control can make the rest of the population sleep better. With hat being
said I am 100% #TeamBrandi. I missed this episode because I had to go into work
at DISH. I’m bad with setting weekly timers on my DISH Hopper so I set it to
record the entire season. I have over 400 hours of HD DVR room, and with that I
won’t miss a single episode and I can still record my other favorite programs
the same night without using up much space. I can’t wait to get home to check
this episode out and seeing Brandi go off on Adrienne.

I totally agree. Brandi is slowly becoming my favorite as well.. I just really like her!! I also don’t blame her for being annoyed at Adrienne at the table, Adrienne was being rude and disrespectful trying to jump into a conversation she didn’t belong in.

I do like Brandi. It’s entertaining to watch the shocked expressions of the other housewives as she lays taboo subjects out on the table. But I can’t help but sense that she wants to be accepted by the other wives. This is off-putting. If she were truly independent she wouldn’t care about making up with Kim or Kyle. I liked Camille better because I think she genuinely knew that she was above all the snooty behavior that has become a standard for Real Housewives. Ironically, women who a truly classy do not apply for this show. Her quitting the show earned me a new respect for her.

I really like and respect Camille as well, but she quit because they weren’t willing to pay her what she was aking for.. At least that’s what I’ve read
