It’s official! People has named Channing Tatum their Sexiest Man Alive 2012, replacing last year’s cover man Bradley Cooper. Like his predecessor, Channing came across as bashful and surprised at the honor. “My first thought was, ‘Y’all are messing with me,’” he confessed. ”I told [wife] Jenna [Dewan-Tatum] after we’d been in the bathtub washing our dogs because they’d gotten skunked. She was like, ‘What?’ Yeah, she calls me [the Sexiest Man Alive] now.”
No surprise there! Even if the news hadn’t gotten leaked early, we couldn’t imagine anyone else being named Sexiest Man Alive, not after the year that Channing has had.
