Keira Knightley Forgets To Wear Shirt, Accidentally Exposes Front Boob On Cover Of Allure

So this is kinda awkward. Keira Knightley did an interview with Allure magazine where it appears she forgot to wear a shirt. For everyone out there who will claim this is a purposeful decision, think about it. How often do you put on a jacket without first putting on a shirt? Probably never. That would make no sense. Can you even imagine leaving your house with a jacket, but no shirt. Preposterous!

Therefore we can conclude that this isn’t some kind of coy pose where she exposes her boobs, without actually exposing them. I do believe it’s safe to say she forgot to put on a shirt. Maybe she had a late night the day before and was running late and knew she forgot something, but assumed it was something trivial. Like leaving her straightener on.

Then she showed up for the photoshoot and  it was one of those situations where no one knew her that well, so no one wanted to call her out and embarrass her.

It’s the same thing as when a co-worker has something in her teeth and you’re like, “ooo I should tell her, but I don’t really know her. She’ll surely figure it out, at some point.” Then days later you see photos of her tagged on Facebook with a piece of spinach sandwiched between her teeth because everyone who saw her thought someone else would tell her. It’s just like that.

Now, because no one wanted to bring up the elephant in the room, she’s standing on the cover topless for all the world to see. Yesterday we didn’t know exactly what the bottom right of her left boob looked like, now we do. Ugh, if only a photographer or an editor or even an intern would have spoken up, we wouldn’t be here starring at her boobs.

And the top of her crotch. Looks like she forgot to button her pants as well. Poor Keira.

Is it me, or should we be able to see her nipple? Not that I necessarily want to, but it looks like it’s been airbrushed away…

  • Idontcare

why was this article even written? what a waste of time.

    • Jenni

This comment however proved to be a very valuable use of time! Well done.

  • Petranella

More clothing than VF cover with Tom Ford and ScarJo!

  • http://twitter.com/TirNaNog3 Tír-Ná-Nóg

The nipple was selected using the ‘circle’ marquee, cut out, and pasted ‘in place’ on another layer. The nipple is on layer 17 in the Photoshop file. It is there, the GA just clicked off that layer to hide the nipple.

      LOL! You are wonderful.

  • http://ninnelson.com/ gigi5

    Photoshop, the new pastie.

    • Jenni

      Ha!

    • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

gigi5 where have you been. Missing you. Are you mad at me. You’ll have to get in line.

    • http://ninnelson.com/ gigi5

No, I’m following you still, just not logged in because I don’t like that when I make a comment when I’m logged in it stays around for years and can be read totally out of time and place.

I’m not mad at you. You talk of postmodernism a lot, and I don’t have much to say about it so you don’t hear from me so much since our game with those who thought they knew what was going on with KS and RP.

I think postmodernism has been used to convince people they are base creatures. So degraded. I’m not saying that postmodernism is not valid, or that the writers and thinkers that you talk of are degraded. But how has postmodernism been used? I also think it’s had its run and I really just wish everyone would get over it.

I feel that way about the bible too. Too bad it has to be interpreted by ordinary mortals.

    • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

Post modernism is what blew up that scandal into itty bitty pieces. Did you not think I knew what I was doing, that I was following a plan to do it? That I knew you and nena were in sympathy with KS and how I felt about it and how she was set up? Did you think modernism thinking would have accomplished anything at all? It was destroyed through post modern thinking. As far as it doesn’t do anything are you watching Occupy Sandy in New Jersey? Are you watching Ai Wei Wei in China? Don’t tell me this thinking is not accomplishing anything? Any change I see is because of it. Look at what Zizek is doing, what he is saying, what he is writing. Do you think Zizek is going on in the same old way? Do you think Rob and Kristen are going on in the same old same old Hollywood way. Maybe RK don’t think of themselves as post modernist thinkers but that doesn’t mean they aren’t because they are, especially Kristen. If you read me more you would see it. The Dark Knight Rises is all about that. Herzog also. Almost everything coming out of Eastern Europe. I give up.

You see what you look for and use language that reflects your interests. Why not move forward from postmodernism?

    • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

Post modern thinking is a Discourse. Language is just part of Discourse. What you see is determined by your language, not what your see determining your language. Eskimos and snow words yes. It is impossible to move from post modernism unless one speaks, thinks and writes in poetry all the time. The only other way to communicate with other humans is say sign language, gestures, etc. Post modernism has not become a Discourse for me yet. I am working on it. Here’s someone you will love who does. http://mashatupitsyn.tumblr.com/ Go back into her archives on Judy Garland and listen to her Over the Rainbow youtube find. Absorb her. She writes purely in a postmodern discourse. Astonishingly beautiful.

    • kidkennedy

There once was a girl named Knightly
Who exposed a breast just slightly
      Although it is fake
      For money’s sake
Allure published it rightly. LOL………uummm….not quite what you meant about speaking in poetry, huh?
I will leave that to CHG. She does it better than anyone I know.

    • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

Yes I love your limerick. Just great.

    • http://ninnelson.com/ gigi5

I did not find Judy Garland or Over the Rainbow when I searched at that linked site.

I believe your insistence that what you see is determined by your language is a mental trap. It traps you in the language.

    • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

That’s because I try to explain it to you in your language, your discourse but you see I can’t. When I read it it is in a different Discourse and it doesn’t sound bite. At Love Dog you have to go back in her archives for Judy. Or do a search of her site. She is doing a book on Beauty and Monsters.

    • http://ninnelson.com/ gigi5

I went back into the archives and searched the site, no luck.

I don’t think you really speak my language either.

It’s easy to say things aren’t “black or white”, “right or wrong”, “good or bad”, unless you decide they are, for you. That’s the simplicity. There are possibilities, only limited by the person’s own imagination.

      It’s simple, really.

    • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

It’s simple yes. And it keeps you in a box. So you can be controlled or so you can stubbornly resist. And nothing CAN change because the way it is discussed, its Discourse, forbids any change. It’s a language game. When you are in a Game you play by its rules. If you can break the rules and get away with it and still stay in the game, then you have won something. This is what the captains of cyber-capital are doing, the Eric packers of this world. If you can see this without judgement then it is like you are on top of a hill looking at both sides of the war, seeing the futility of the war.
Tolstoy writes about Waterloo in this way. The entire war unfolds for you in all its minor little battles within the large picture. All you can see are skirmishes being fought here, there and everywhere. And Tolstoy takes you all over the shole battlefield until your head is filled with its immensity and its stupidity in each of its tiny pieces, that you finally see what a huge battle really is. I forget the painter that painted the famous picture of it. Delacroix? Sorry, can’t remember but it was the same.

    • http://ninnelson.com/ gigi5

I see. Ok, I will try again, too.

I said that a person can decide there are only two values and if that person decides that, then it is true for that person. That is a trap and would keep them in the box, as you said.

It is also true, though, that a person can decide the possibilities are endless, an infinity of values. No absolute value. No trap.

    • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

Your second paragraph is Deleuze. Congratulations.

    • http://ninnelson.com/ gigi5

2 valued logic is ancient. Infinite value logic is from George Boole. Mathematics.

    • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

Deleauze says: Either or….or….or….or….to break up the either/or of the classical dialectic. I have not read Zizek on Deleuze in which he makes Deleauze more radical than Deleuze. I am trying to make Rand more radical than Rand.

    • http://ninnelson.com/ gigi5

Yes, I see why you mentioned Deleuze.

    • http://ninnelson.com/ gigi5

Why do you care so much that I don’t embrace interpretation through postmodernist thinking?

    • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

Because it is the only way to think. I am talking about thinking, nothing else. To think in the classic dialectic leaves you crippled.

    • http://ninnelson.com/ gigi5

It’s a label, and you stick to it very thoroughly. You get stuck in the words.

    • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

I don’t know how else to say changing the Discourse from the Dominating Discourse of classic Hegelian Dialectic in its oppositional structure without using all those words. But that’s what I mean when I say it. The necessity of taking opposites and folding them together to find what is revealed when you do that. If you keep good vs bad against each other, you cover up the meaning.

    • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

Sometimes I don’t know where you get the sound bites you use to brush off something.

    • http://ninnelson.com/ gigi5

      I know.

  • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

What garbage. Glad Evelyn taught me to read fast. The whole cover photoshopped. faace boobs and all. VF isses with Kate Moss has her showing her boobs. Starting to see bush in films now. But Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis is racist and only the dark skinned non famous one is bush shown, not Binoche, during their sex scenes. Binoche plays hers as slapstick. Kendra and Rob are just plastic bodies moving around. Might as well have photoshopped them too.

  • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

Looks like Allure is getting ready to bite the dust.

    • Petranella

      OH really??

    • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

If they run a cover like that with Keira Knightly, photoshop her face and her boobs, they are desperate for attention.

    • Petranella

True but does that mean Allure is closing down. They are famous for a “nude” issue every year. Funny how “Men’s” magazine feature beautiful young hot babes and so to magazines targeted to Women.

    • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

It’s just a “floating sign” saying they are savvy masking the fact that they are flailing. It will take awhile. I don’t know what their resources are, how long they will be kept afloat, etc. But they are doomed. Just as People was doomed to go tabloid when 2 years ago they changed their color pages to cheap and flimsy. They were saying in a “floating sign” “we are not about quality anymore.” They aren’t and now everybody knows. But those who saw 2 years ago the direction it was going and were in a position to make money on it probably did. That’s what stock market investing is all about.

      1. Be first
      2. Be smarter
      3. Cheat and lie.

  • Superabound

In real life she is completely flat chested. Those boobs are photoshopped, they dont really exist.
