Bradley Cooper Continues To Romance Our Girl Crushes By Going From Jennifer Lawrence To Emma Stone

Bradley Cooper Emma Stone untitled Cameron Crowe movie love story Jennifer Lawrence Silver Linings Playbook young love interestWhen debuting our list of 25 Crushable Girls Under 25 last week, we joked about what would happen if Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone actually met in real life. Well, it looks like they’re about to have something in common other than being our favorite girl crushes—they both get to make out with Bradley Cooper on-camera.

Look at that shit-eating grin. Bradley knows he’s got it good. His new film Silver Linings Playbook has gotten good buzz (and Oscar talk), and he gets to team up with J. Law for the Civil War film Serena as well. And now Deadline reports that Cameron Crowe wants him to star in his new movie with Emma Stone.

We know nothing about the project aside from the fact that it’ll have “a tone reminiscent of past Crowe films Almost Famous and Jerry Maguire.” And, you know, Emma will wind up somehow saving Bradley from himself while classic rock plays in the background.

But should we really be surprised? After all, Bradley was named People‘s Sexiest Man Alive last year, beating out Ryan Gosling in a surprising upset that even he admitted surprised him. In fact, it would seem that he and the Gos are about neck-and-neck where it comes to up-and-coming Hollywood starlets. Bradley has two on-screen romances with Jennifer Lawrence under his belt and now looks to be closing in on this Emma Stone deal. Meanwhile, January’s Gangster Squad will give us our second Emma/Ryan match-up. Seems like the next thing we can expect is to see Ryan and Jennifer in a movie together, and then the guys will be even again.

Or, better yet, cast all four of them in some wacky love quadrangle! Done.

Serena is not a Civil War film. It occurs during the Great Depression. You should read the novel by Ron Rash; it’s worth the time.
