And now from best dressed male to worst dressed guy group: Green Day, seeing you all together in public like this made me smile, but realizing that you're style has been static since 1999 made me cringe.

Oooh, pant-suit. Bold choice, Taylor. Flawless as usual, CoverGirl Taylor Swift, rocking a sleek white suit, used bright red lipstick and and bold smokey eyes to make her look pop. Kudos to Taylor for pulling off some serious make-up.

Team Jake, or Team Edward? If you were on the fence before, just take a look at Taylor Lautner (Jake from the Twilight saga) at the VMAs. He was probably the best dressed guy in attendance. This still of him in the audience makes me think that Kristen should have cheated on Rob with Taylor instead...

Someone forgot to tell Gossip Girl's Jessica Szohr that animal prints, skirts with side-slits, and platform sneakers aren't okay unless you're a Spice Girl. Oops. Actually, I can't tell if she's going for vintage girl-power, or channeling J-Woww via Snooki in The Craft?

At least these guys got the memo! Ron, Sammi, Vinny, Deena, and Pauly D. all graced the red carpet, and there was not a leopard spot or a "situation" in sight! Good job, guidos and guidettes.

Nicki, Nicki, Nicki. This catsuit confuses me. This wig confuses me. It must have confused her chauffeur, too, because he let her wear his hat on the red carpet. Too bad that wasn't enough to salvage the look.

Also looking fantastic beside an impeccibly dressed Minaj were rappers Lil' Wayne and Drake. Lil' Wayne gets my "best use of accessories" award, for not only rocking shades inside, but pairing them with bright red headphones, and various rubber bracelets. Lil' Wayne is now a mallrat, Drake, surprisingly, is now... a guido?

When Miley chopped off all her hair, I was like, "bold move." But I'm not sure about this prehistoric pompadour. Her dark liner and simple eye shadow look great, though.

Bad girl RiRi has swtiched it up yet again. She donned new cropped hair and a stunning backless, white dress on the red carpet. And like fellow stunner Taylor Swift, Rihanna had no shame in bright red lipstick and heavily lined eyes, and didn't look like a prostitute.

Now here's dinosaur hair done right. Still not my favorite look, but tough CoverGirl Pink has always done her own thing and somehow, it usually works. Plus, DO YOU SEE THE SPIKES IN HER HAIR? Like I said. Dinosaur. Done right.
