Wow. This love triangle between Amanda Bynes, Lindsay Lohan and the safety of everyone not locked inside their homes continues to heat up so fast that it’s giving the Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff and Aaron Carter love triangle of 2003 a run for its money.
Last night, while Amanda Bynes forgot to wreck havoc on the city streets of Los Angeles, Lindsay Lohan allegedly clipped a pedestrian in New York City. I say allegedly because that’s the word being used in other reports, also because I believe that this could be more evidence of the Disney Star Lock ‘Em Up conspiracy that Lohan alluded to the other day.
Authorities say a 34-year-old Hispanic male alleges that Lohan clipped him when she was driving her 2010 black Porsche Cayenne SUV in an alleyway between the Maritime and Dream Hotels, on 16th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues.
After allegedly hitting the man, she or her occupant got out of the SUV to check the vehicle for damage, then the two went into the Dream, say police. The victim was sent to Bellevue Hospital with a knee injury. There is no word on the severity of his injury.
Knee injury? I mean, I hope the guy’s okay, but that’s it? (Guys, fear not, there’s a suite in Hell waiting for me.)
Regardless of the fact that Lindsay Lohan went out to party and not to go to jail, the police arrested her around 2:30 in the morning when she left the Dream. People says, “Lohan was booked, issued a desk appearance ticket and released without bail.”
So while she’s a free woman now, she’ll forever have tainted memories of this Tuesday night out on the town. Way to go NYPD. Ruining one night out at a time.
UPDATE: The plot thickens. TMZ reports that video surveillance of the entire incident exists — and it shows that Lindsay Lohan may be getting accused of a crime she didn’t commit.
The video shows Lindsay’s car — which is traveling at a crawl — gets very close to the pedestrian but it’s unclear if the vehicle makes contact. In fact, sources tell us … 2 detectives came to the hotel early this morning and viewed the tape. One detective felt Lindsay’s car “grazed” the back of the alleged victim’s leg, but the other detective felt the car never made contact.
Someone call a producer. This has TV movie written all over it. Naturally, I’ll star as Linds and Dina Lohan will star as Pedestrian.
