It seems like only yesterday we were all arguing over the finale of Girls‘ first season, and now there’s already a trailer for the next one!
As can be expected from a show that doesn’t premiere until this coming January, the trailer reveals very little about the second season, but it does sound like Lena Dunham used a song by her new bf’s band fun. (Whom I recently wrote about on one of my grumpypants days. Sorry Jack, your band doesn’t totally suck, I just get emotional about the death of rock and roll sometimes, because I, personally and subjectively, like it more than pop. Because I am a Bad Music Writer.) Other than confirming that Lena is still having hopefully-not-terrible sex on the regs, it shows us that:
-Girls is still a TV show filmed on location in Greenpoint
-Where there is a coffee shop called Cafe Grumpy
-Lena Dunham has the ability to laugh, maybe even at herself
-Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet are still on the show, as well as Adam Driver <3 <3 <3
-Allison Williams‘ character goes out in the rain at some point (scandalous!)
-I never noticed before how much Allison Williams looks like Kate Middleton
-Apparently she has even done an impression of her!
I will report more insignificant details of this great television show’s return as they emerge.
