In case you didn’t know, Deadpool is a badass comic book character who always has snarky retorts for his fellow superheroes and often breaks the fourth wall. (He was also played by Ryan Reynolds in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, so there’s that, too.) Because of what a smug little troublemaker he is, one fan decided that in cosplaying Deadpool at various fan conventions, he would go above and beyond. So in addition to wearing the costume, he’s videotaped himself trolling other attendees and crashing panels. And that was just at San Diego Comic-Con.
Now Deadpool is back, and he’s taking on something less geeky and more mainstream: Gangnam Style. Our cosplay Deadpool took a page from Korean popstar Psy – not to mention copying his signature outfit of a blazer and bowtie — and does the strangely addictive horse dance all over the place. And because it’s Deadpool, there’s a lot of hip-thrusting and barging into women’s bathrooms. The best part is, even if they get a face-full of spandex crotch, people seem to laugh and go along with it. How can you not, when you have bits like him on the escalator? I just love it and have been sharing it with everyone I know.
I promise you, even if you don’t give a shit about Deadpool or don’t consider yourself a geek, you will still want to watch this video over and over again.
And yes, that is Bane Gangnam Style dancing with Deadpool in the parking lot.
