Bella Thorne is a quadruple threat. She’s a singer, actress, dancer and model. Much like current teen sensations like Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez, Bella is a Disney star. She stars on Shake It Up! with fellow up-and-comer, Zendaya. Her single TTYLXOX peaked at 15 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Songs chart, which is for new and developing acts, and she’s been nominated and won tons of teen awards. So move over Bella Swan, there’s a new Bella who is ready to take over.

Ariana Grande has been playing Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon show Victorious since 2010. She’s the red headed ditz on the show, and she was such a breakout star that when Victorious ends after this season, she’s getting her own spin-off with Jennette McCurdy. She released her first single this year and it debuted at 25 on the charts. Not too shabby.

As another Disney starlet, Caroline Sunshine is bound to make it big (how could she not with a name like Caroline Sunshine?). She’s on the Disney show Shake It Up! where she plays a European exchange student. She also sings (duh, isn’t that basically a requirement for being on the Disney Channel?). I’m thinking she’s going to be the next Ashley Tisdale.

Similar to the uber-famous Justin Bieber, Cody Simpson was discovered on Youtube, but unlike Biebs, Simpson is Australian, which makes him a million times hotter. He writes his own songs and plays guitar and piano. His album, Paradise, comes out in the beginning of October, and he’s about to have all lady eyes on him because he’s going to tour with the Bieber himself.

Hunter Hayes released his first studio album in 2011 and has already had a Top 5 and a Top 20 country song. This boy is mega talented. On his first album, he played every single instrument and wrote or co-wrote every track. He’s toured with Taylor Swift (you may have heard of her), and is about to go on tour with Carrie Underwood. The teens showed their love for him by voting for him to win the Choice Male Country Artist award at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards. He’s going to appeal to more than teens soon enough though. Just wait.

Jennette McCurdy plays Miranda Cosgrove’s BFF Sam on iCarly. She’s the tough, funny girl who is obsessed with food and has been to juvy a few times. Her first studio album came out this past June, and it’s filled with catchy country tunes. Her comedic chops have won her the 2009 Favorite TV Sidekick Awards and the 2012 Funniest TV Sidekick award at the Kids’ Choice Awards, but by this time next year she won’t be anyone’s sidekick. She’ll be the main star.

Lucy Hale is one of the stars of Pretty Little Liars, which is like crack to a tween girl. She won a Teen Choice Award in 2010, 2011 and 2012. She was on the September cover of Cosmopolitan. While she has tons of acting experience, she’s ready to make her mark on the music world. She has a country music album coming out in 2013, and it may propel her into household name status.

IM5 is a fairly new boy band that was put together by Perez Hilton, celeb gossip extraordinaire; Simon Fuller, the creator of American Idol; and Jamie King, a well-known tour director and choreographer. The boys are Cole, Dalton, Will, Gabriel and Dana. The guys all have their own personalities, and the girls love them. Best part? They are actually talented; they can sing AND dance well (I’m almost reminded of *NSYNC). Their single Zero Gravity is super catchy and incorporates some of that new dubstep all the kids are listening too. Get ready to hear a lot more from them.

You’ve probably seen this girl in a few movies. She was in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Soul Surfer, but she’s just getting started. She’s on her way to icon status, and what better way to become an icon than to play one? AnnaSophia will be playing Carrie Bradshaw in The Carrie Diaries. She will be portraying high school Carrie who has to figure out boys, sex and fashion. Every teen and every Sex and the City lover will be tuning in, which is sure to make AnnaSophia Robb the next big thing.

Miranda Cosgrove has been doing movies and TV for ages. You probably remember her as the know-it-all from School of Rock, but that’s not what the tweens know her as. Miranda has stared on Nickelodeon’s iCarly for the past 5 years, and she was on Drake and Josh before that. Her album, Sparks Fly, peaked at number eight on the Billboard charts, and she’s releasing another album within the next year. With iCarly ending this year, Miranda is going to focus on college. She’s attending USC this fall, but she picked that school because she still wants to do acting, so don’t expect her to disappear in the library all year.
