While everyone continues to stress out that Kristen Stewart is residing on the intersection of Despair and Sorrow, it looks like she’s actually packed up her bags and moved to the bustling city of Totally Okay. With or without Robert Pattinson by her side, I think she’s going to make it.
Yes, regardless of what you may have read on the interweb or heard from your friend of a second cousin who knows an intern who once worked on a movie with someone who waited in line behind Kristen Stewart at a Hollywood Chipotle, Kristen Stewart is doing okay. Maybe even alright. Or dare I say it, good.
In an interview with MTV at the Toronto International Film Festival, Kristen opened up about her upcoming projects and what she’s planning next.
Stewart said that for the first time in a long time, she has some room to relax and take her time in choosing her next project. ”It’s been a little while since I haven’t had stuff mapped out, so it’s nice,” she said. “I’m in a good place to choose.”
It’s amazing how much breathing room a little publicity stunt can give an actress who’s worked nonstop for years making and promoting films. No one’s pressuring her to take on a role or making her read a script because it’s the perfect part for her. As long as she’s “blacklisted” in Hollywood, she has time to figure out what she wants to do next.
Not what her fans want, not what her managers want and not what Hollywood wants.
So for everyone who’s fretting over her weight, her appearance and her emotional state right now, I think we can all rest assured that she’s doing okay. We’re the people reading all these horrible articles about her every day and it’s unlikely she’s seeing all this hatred coming her way.
Unless she really hates herself, she’s probaby not googling her own name every day looking to see who thinks she’s a homewrecking whore now.
In fact, I’m sure she came home from TIFF, turned on the TV and caught up on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Because that’s the first thing I would do on my vacation from work. And doesn’t she deserve to have a relaxing vacation full of mindless entertainment and celebrity speculation like the rest of us?
