According to the geek site nerdbastards, this business card was handed to fans at San Diego Comic-Con if they ran into Firefly star Nathan Fillion and he was unable to stop and chat or take a photo. Searching on Google, the autograph checks out, and really, this does sound like something Nathan would do. We Browncoats have known since 2002 that he has leading-man status, but now the mainstream fans have finally caught on. Even if the ten-year Firefly reunion hadn’t taken place at SDCC this year, you know that Nathan was probably mobbed whenever he stepped out on the floor. (Especially after he kissed Zachary Levi!) It’s times like these that I need to pull out my Shoshanna .gif:

One of the Facebook commenters took exception with this method, arguing that it’ll inspire other stars to be lazy and just pass out autographed business cards willy-nilly. But nerdbastards clarified that Nathan only handed out these cards if he got stopped on his way to a panel or signing where there were more fans waiting for him. In that way, he reached out to as many people as possible, an admirable feat for SDCC.
You also have to love the Facebook commenter who wrote, “Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, here’s my autograph, watch Castle maybe?” Spot-on.
