Oh no! Be careful, tiny blonde one! Kristin Chenoweth was injured on the set of The Good Wife as it filmed in New York City yesterday and had to be rushed to the hospital. Kristin was on-set in Williamsburg to film a guest spot when a gust of wind blew a piece of lighting equipment off a nearby scaffold, hitting the actress ‘square in the head’. Kristin was thrown to the ground and smacked her head on the concrete, knocking her out cold and triggering a thirty-second seizure, according to The New York Post. A 911 call was made from set around 5:00pm and Kristin was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where she is currently recovering and listed in stable condition.
Holy crap that’s scary. This may sound like a big reaction after not that big of an injury, but Kristin’s just a little lady! She’s actually less than five feet tall — she comes in at 4’11″ — and the image of anyone seizing after an injury would scare the crap out of me. A witness who was on the scene said they actually, “thought she was dead at first” because she went down so hard and wasn’t moving around. Well we’re so glad she’s okay, because this Tony and Emmy-award winner is super sweet and talented. She does seem to be a bit accident-prone, though, as this is just the most recent in her list of acting-related injuries. In 2003, she injured her neck during a performance of Wicked
