Watch Frank Ocean Open Up About His First Same-Sex Experience During The First Performance Of ‘Bad Religion’

Way back in March we told you that Frank Ocean would be the next big thing in music in our annual 25 Most Crushable Guys under 25 round-up. His performance of “Bad Religion” from his debut album “Channel Orange” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night proves that we made the right call back in the spring.

Last week the singer made headlines by coming out as bisexual and this week he’s going to make them all over again for “Bad Religion.” Seriously, prepare to hear his name a lot because he has real talent and real lyrics. I love bands like One Direction as much as the next girl-trapped-in-an-adult-body, but lyrics like theirs just don’t compare to these.

In the highly anticipated song, he talks about his first same-sex experience in such a powerful way that you know that this could be an anthem for other closeted bisexual men struggling with their feelings. Especially those in the hip-hop community.

Check out the video above, the lyrics below and prepare yourself to become a huge Frank Ocean fan.

Taxi driver, your my shrink for the hour
Leave the meter running, its rush hour
So take the streets if you wanna
Just outrun the demons, could you?
Allah-hu-akbar, I told him don’t curse me
But boy you need prayer, I guess it couldn’t hurt me
If it brings me to my knees, it’s a bad religion
Undying love, To me it’s nothing but a one man cult
With cyanide in a Styrofoam cup
I can never make him love me,
Never make him love me, no, no
Taxi driver, I swear I’ve got three lives
Balanced on my head like steak knives
I can’t tell you the truth about my disguise
I can’t trust no one
You say, Allah-hu-akbar, I told him don’t curse me
But boy you need prayer, I guess it couldn’t hurt me
If it brings me to my knees, it’s a bad religion
Unrequited love, To me it’s nothing but a one man cult
With cyanide in a Styrofoam cup
I can never make him love me
Never make him love me, no, no
It’s a, it’s a bad religion
To be in love with someone who can never love you
A bad, only bad religion
Could have me the feeling the way I do
