You really want to reach the young people? Bring in some sort of mascot from Reddit. I'm personally attached to the Overly Attached Girlfriend meme for the Justin Bieber connection, but Ridiculously Photogenic Guy would do just as nicely.
To clarify: I'd be happy with either the real people behind these memes, or the people playing along with the personas Reddit has given them. I'm not picky.

While we're talking about fake personas... Weyland Corp's android David (Michael Fassbender) was unanimously the best part of the frustrating sci-fi film Prometheus. Because it's Fassy, people will listen to anything he says; and even though Prometheus was a letdown, content related to the movie still gets people's attention even weeks later.
