While we do like One Direction’s music and agree that they also possess musical talent, it’s extremely unfair to compare a novice boy band just discovering their sound and their musical direction (as Jenni did) to a seasoned band that has already conquered the path to musical superstardom. The Jonas Brothers are in a completely different season of their career — which makes comparing them to One Direction absolutely impossible.
Kevin wed in late 2009 and is now working hard to establish a home with new wife Danielle. And for your information, he married her because he truly loves her and respects her. He is NOT the kind of guy to marry to lose his virginity, as many media outlets so rudely assume. If he wasn’t a genuine man who loved a sweet woman, he wouldn’t have kept his virginity until marriage. That demonstrates a tremendous amount of class and good morality.
Also, due to their professional organization and skilled planning, his brothers Joe and Nick have been able to release their own solo albums and, as Jenni mentioned, pursue other interests. Joe has been able to be involved with numerous T.V. shows, and Nick has been able to be part of three major Broadway productions. Working on these types of projects is simply something that One Direction is unable to do right now because of their youth.
With their many successes, it’s become clear that the Jonas Brothers are indeed helping to set the precedent for other recent up-and-coming artists. Allstar Weekend (who were featured on Disney’s The Next Big Thing) were first approached by scouters when handing out their EPs at a red-carpet Jonas Brothers event.
Justin Bieber, although quite different in his style of music, has chosen many of the same fashion statements set forth by the Jonas Brothers. This imitation also includes feeling more comfortable displaying his Christian faith. These are the brothers outwardly and proudly wore purity rings after coming of age.
