Biggest Freeloaders: Mackenzie Douthit and Joey
Yes, Mackenzie gets a second superlative, for the fact that she and Josh are both living at home. She said that she’s so broke that she to ask her mom for money to buy teething tablets.
Most Realistic Post-Pregnancy Experience: Sarah Roberts
Of course most of the girls now espouse proper birth control and say that they wish they hadn’t messed up their lives, but Sarah was the only one who talked about suffering postpartum depression. Especially, she says, because her babydaddy Blake was away on a shrimping boat. Dr. Drew proved himself yet again to not really be a doctor in not following up on the postpartum reveal at all. Sigh.
Fastest Fiancé Turnaround: Kristina Robinson
Kristina’s episode was one of the only ones where we felt truly sorry for this teen mom: Her fiancĂ© John Todd Hight drowned tragically while at the beach with Kristina and her family last spring, and their relationships all fell apart as a result, despite her giving birth to their child. Now, she has a new fiancĂ©, T.J., a fact she hesitantly revealed to Dr. Drew.
Though he was raising his eyebrows at her, she explained, “I just wanted to be happy, and feel happy, and that’s how he makes me feel.” And while we’re not always for teens getting married (you know, like Miley and Liam), perhaps this promise of fidelity and support is what Kristina most needs in light of the tragedy she suffered.
Recipient of Dr. Drew’s Judgiest Quote: Matt (Alex Sekella‘s Babydaddy)
Despite her babydaddy Matt having a serious drug problem, Alex can’t seem to stay away from him. She told Dr. Drew that she hooked up with him ten days prior to the taping of the reunion, but not even that garnered the most judgment. It was when Matt called in to talk to everyone; see, he’s on probation and wasn’t allowed to come to New York City for the taping.
He stressed that he’s sober and going to AA twice a week, but Dr. Drew interjected, “Matt, I’ve seen on the episode what your drug problem was like. Two times a week… you need to be going two times a day.”
