3. Is Vicki a huge hypocrite?
Vicki disappears right when they get to Costa Rica and all the ladies assume that she is on the phone with Brooks. Gretchen and Alexis make a note to bitch about this because Vicki used to be so annoyed with them when they were talk with their husbands. She is now on the phone with Brooks right when she gets there and is in this weird-ass chipper mood because according to Tamra, “She’s getting laid.” I guess I was getting laid on the reg, I’d be in a pretty chipper mood too. Ah, to be young. She then gets super offended when Tamra calls her a hypocrite while they’re all standing on a very tiny ledge, getting ready to zipline. They’re all yelling and being crazy. Tamra says, “You can’t say one thing, and then do another.” Which is 1005% right. That is Vicki and Vicki is a hypocrite.
4. Did this episode turn me off to traveling with a large group of women?
Yes. In two months, I am supposed to take a roadtrip to Nashville with 6 of my best girlfriends. After watching this episode, I don’t want to go. You can’t make me go! Constant yelling, talking, screeching, loud noises. I can’t even deal with it. Granted my friends and I are not as outrageous as the ladies from the OC, but they are still loud creatures. Watching this episode was like a warning from Andy Cohen, telling me that I need to cautious when traveling to foreign places with a large group of women. I already paid my share of the hotel bill, so I guess you guys just need to wish me luck.
5. Was Vicki wasted for the entirety of the trip?
She is being so strange the whole trip. Singing, “Ring Around The Rosie”, “Apples and Bananas”, and talking non-stop. Is she just happy and love drunk? Or is she actually just in love or hopped up on speed? I have never seen Vicki be this hyperactive or happy to be alive since season one of this show. I am not exaggerating. I mean, we get the occasional “WOO HOO!”, but the way she was acting on the zip-line excursion was just plain strange. She was acting like a crazy, or as Gretchen puts it like a “wackadoodle”. I also need to make a sidenote about Vicki’s Snooki-esque poof at the dinner at the seafood restaurant. Homegirl is a hot mess.
6. How out of line were the ladies at dinner?
During dinner in Costa Rica, all of the women decide to go around the table and tell Alexis what they think is wrong with her. They call her selfish, spoiled, pretentious, fake, etc. She sits there and tries to defend herself as much as she possibly can, but she is no match for Tamra and the rest of the women. They tell her that they think she could fix A,B,C about her and break her down into tears. She calls Tamra “mean and hateful” which is so true. Tamra is so ridiculously mean. Just leave the poor girl alone. She had no one backing her up as she was attacked about every single thing she does in her life, and I could feel her anxiety. How do you not cry in that kind of a situation?
