JWoww’s Surprisingly Smart Response To Bristol Palin’s Bigotry Almost Makes Me Like Her

It’s extremely rare that I hear a cast member of Jersey Shore speak aloud and agree with what they’re saying. It’s so rare that I can’t remember it ever happening before this very morning when I read JWoww’s tweet to Bristol Palin about gay marriage.

As you may have heard from your racist neighbor, President Obama legalized anything-goes-marriages this week. Yep, that’s right. You can now marry your dog AND your favorite kitchen table. Oh and you can adopt children as soon as the marriages go through. You can actually adopt ALL the children. Everyone know kids fare better when they’re raised by a mother, a beloved family pet and an inanimate piece of furniture.

Or so Bristol Palin would have you believe that’s what Obama thinks with her incredibly bigoted response to his announcement that he’s pro gay marriage. There’s no need to infuriate you so early in the morning,  so I’ll just sum it up for you. “Gay marriage is wrong. Obama is wrong. Kids do better with a married mother and father.”

Shaking your head right now thinking about the fact that holier-than-thou Bristol Palin birthed a baby out of wedlock at 17 with Levi Johnson? And that Levi Johnson just announced last month that he’s expecting another child with another woman he’s not married to? As much as I hate anyone who preaches about made-up family values, I can at least try to listen to someone who’s actually living by the values they preach about. Bristol Palin? Not so much.

JWoww completely agreed with me (probably because we both spell our names the same way) and tweeted out the following:

Clap. Clap. Clap.

JWoww wins my favorite celebrity of the day vote for crafting a surprisingly smart response to Bristol Palin’s ridiculous blog entry. She simplifies it for us so well. “Stop hating people” sums up the entire situation for me.

What about for you?

My PERSONAL opinion is that a marriage is between a man and a woman. But that is really just how I was raised. I have nothing against the gay community, my belief is just different. But I do agree that Bristol Palin’s statement was wrong considering she isn’t married and therefore she shouldn’t preach that since she had a child out of wedlock. I’m aware a lot of people are going to get on my case for not being pro gay marriage, but hell…that’s my own opinion.

      • Maggie

Can I ask why you think it should only be between a man and a woman? No judgement, everyone is entitled to their opinion, just wondering why you feel that way.

      • JDiddyMao

And it’s my opinion that your opinion is bigoted, antiquated and should be removed from every form of civilized society. :D

      • Kate

I think it’s incredibly rude to hurl insults at someone just for expressing a tactfully worded opinion. It’s that kind of rudeness that contributes to partisan resentment, polarization, and a total lack of productive dialogue in this country. I don’t agree with Megan, but I have a bigger problem with JDiddyMao’s bigotry.

Official definition of bigotry : Intolerance toward those who hold different opinions than oneself.

        So check yourself.

Would you tolerate a “tactfully worded” racist or sexist opinion? For instance :’I believe that interracial marriage is an abomination.I am against interracial marriage and believe it should be outlawed.I have nothing against black people ,my belief is just different,it’s what I was raised to believe.’

Gimme a break…if your belief is that marriage is for a man and a woman, that’s fine because it’s your belief. However, no one should have the right to tell someone else that they can’t get legally get married. This bigoted belief is rooted in the Church, and therefore, has no business being legislated into law. Separation of church and state…get it?

If anything, telling gays that they can’t get married is a violation of their “pursuit of happiness.” Per the Declaration of Independence happiness is a fundamental right, and I am sick of this debate. Lesbians and Gays pay taxes just like everyone else and therefore, when it comes to laws and their right to get married, things should be on equal footing.

To all the anti-gay marriage people out there I ask you this:

How is gay marriage hurting you personally in your day to day lives? If you believe that marriage is for a man and a woman, great. Be happy in your heterosexual marriages, but you have no right to deprive someone of that same right because of their sexuality.

Bristol really put her foot in her mouth with this…I guess intelligence skips a few generation in her family…did her dysfunctional parent teach her NOT to throw bricks if you live in a GLASS HOUSE in this case a GLASS BOAT…

I never thought in a million years that I would agree with JWOW ….
but I am happy that she busted a hypocrite…and Bristol Palin is a born hypocrite…I was also surprised to find out that JWOW has a College education and is NOT a teen mother…JWOW is a Party girl with a brain…it was very hypocritical of Bristiol Palin to make any remarks or comments people like Bristol Palin have contributed nothing positive to society, DWTS is not a major contribution to Society in fact I saw it as a reward for Britol Palin out of wedlock problem…and she is a problem for the so-called Christian politico’s and these other Christian group that preach family values, when was the last time they spoke out agianst Bristol Palin…they have NOT…well its TIME…she’s a real problem…JWOW will marry before Bristol and ALL of her children will be born to a stable happy marriage…JWOW is sowing her wild oates…women like JWOW make great Mothers because they have experienced life…

Like mother, like daughter. Bristol is selling herself in any form or fashion just like Sarah, to make that money. Talk about some successful capitalists- all body and no brains. See how far they’re willing to go for the cash at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/06/ecstasy-of-sarah-palin_15.html

Bristol has learned from her mother that the best way to make a fast, easy buck is to make ignorant comments that a vast majority of equally ignorant fools will listen to.

Gay marriage was federally legalized in Canada nearly 7 years ago and I still hear the rare douche canoe talk about how marriage is meant to be between a man and a woman. Wake up asshat! Tens of thousands of people have been gay-married since 2005 and it hasn’t harmed straight marriage a damned ounce.

That’s really my message to y’all straight and bigoted Americans. Nothing changes for you, the laws don’t affect you in any way so what the hell are you going on about for?
