6 Burning Questions I Have After Watching The Real Housewives of Orange County

This week’s episode of the beloved Bravo series The Real Housewives of Orange County had me pissed off within the first 30 seconds. Not so much at Andy Cohen or the series in general, just one housewife in pariticular who I want to punch in the face. If you watched last night’s episode, you know exactly which one I’m talking about. Vicki Gunvalson was out of control last night and not in a “woo hoo!” kind of way. In the 13th episode (Have I seriously done 13 of these?) of the 8th season entitled “Whine and Cheese”, we found the ladies throwing a swanky party in honor of every housewife’s favorite thing: wine! This episode left me with a really bad taste in my mouth, and now I am going to tell you all why!

In this episode, Vicki was shoving her new boyfriend down her children’s throats. Tamra was strangely being the voice of reason. Gretchen came to a decision about her future with Slade, and Heather and Alexis were sadly left out of this episode. No Heather and Alexis? Come on! I like Heather now! And Alexis always provides tons of entertainment when she talks about Katie Keurig! I am not pleased, Andy Cohen. Though I didn’t get my weekly dose of my two favorite OC housewives, I still have some questions that I need answered ASAP.

1. Does Vicki need to chill about Brianna’s surprise marriage?

YES. In the first scene of the episode, Vicki is already having a panic attack about her daughter’s nuptials. Listen Vicki, she did it. She got married. She got married to a man she loves, and guess what? It has nothing to do with you! Vicki is just making everything about herself. It’s not about you! You are the original housewife! You’re the OG of the OC, Vicki. You’re better than this. Suck it up, and get on with your life. Your daughter is a grown ass woman. I have so many feelings on Vicki right now. All the feelings.

2. Is Brianna’s marriage an act of rebellion? Kinda? Maybe?

Her mom divorced her biological father and then went ahead and divorced the father she grew up with her whole life, and now brings this new guy into her life. I can definitely see how Brianna’s surprise marriage may be kind of a retaliation to her mother’s horrible track record with men. I can’t imagine what that girl has gone through, and I hope that she did get married for the right reasons because her husband does seem like a nice guy who genuinely cares about her. And if we want to get super old school up in here, we could even say this is a “F–K YOU!” to her ex-boyfriend, Colby! Remember him? Now I’m just grasping at straws, but you guys see where I’m going with this.
