As one of those horrible, horrible people who hate Twilight without ever having read the series or seen any of the movies, I’m anti Kristen Stewart. I know it’s not a nice thing to say and I know that just by typing this, I’m just asking for  Twihards to tear me apart in the comments, but it’s the truth. And I always want to be honest with you guys.
But now I just read a wonderful interview that Charlize Theron gave Access Hollywood about how much she loves Kristen Stewart after working together on Snow White and the Huntsman and it’s making me rethink my stance on her.
“I really, I really, really love that girl. I love that girl, like, I would jump off a building for that girl,” Charlize, 36, told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush at CinemaCon 2012 in Las Vegas when asked about Kristen. “She’s amazing, she’s amazing. She’s the real deal… [and] she gives really good back rubs.”
Charlize Theron’s absolutely fabulous. She’s gorgeous and she’s talented and she usually chooses really great movies to work on. So if she would jump off a building for K. Stew, then I think I can learn to tolerate her, and try to look at her mopeyness as a unique form of stoicism. Also I do appreciate a good back rub.
Charlizie doesn’t stop raving there, she goes on to compliment her acting skills.
“[Kristen] is the kind of actor that I like to be around because there’s nothing she’d really stop at in order to do the job,” Charlize explained. “She’s got a tremendous amount of talent and, you know, I think you can have talent, but if you don’t have tenacity and moxy… She’s bad ass.”
For Charlize to say that Kristen Stewart’s got a tremendous amount of talent is the equivalent of Ke$ha telling an aspiring singing that she’s trashy. It’s take one to know one and after reading all of Charlize’s compliments toward Kristen, I’m really going to try harder to like her.
All I ask if that she try harder to smile.
