Surprising No One, Lindsay Lohan Was Late To Her Glee Shoot After Partying

As we’ve covered previously, Glee has already been way nicer than they need to be to guest star Lindsay Lohan: Casting her as a heightened version of herself so that she won’t have to expend too much energy like past guests Ricky Martin or Matt Bomer. You would think that in return she would be professional, especially since shooting weekly episodes requires a tight ship, right? But no, LiLo remained true to the kind of person she is in the press and showed up late to this morning’s shoot.

TMZ caught on when Dot Marie Jones (who plays Coach Beiste) tweeted, Gonna be a long day!! Some ppl show up late and just throw a wrench in things. Not cool! I’d rather be an hour early (I was) than 5 minutes late! (The tweet appears to have since been deleted.) The site followed up with some Glee insiders and ascertained that it was indeed Lindsay who came to set late, but her five-minute delay didn’t derail the production. After all, she had already shot her big scenes the other day and was just filming her reaction shots to the kids singing at sectionals.

So, not as catastrophic as LiLo’s bad behavior on the Georgia Rule set and the stern letter that her heavy partying prompted. Still, it would behoove her to expend a little more effort on legitimate TV jobs considering she’s still pretty shaky professionally. It looks as if what had her out late last night was Star Magazine’s All Hollywood Party, where the above photo is from. How LiLo still gets invited to this stuff is beyond us—and what about the fact that she’ll be attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner? She’ll be going as Greta van Susteren‘s plus-one, but still. Amazeballs.
