Seeing a meme come to life is like seeing your elementary school teacher in the grocery store. It’s exciting and scary all at once becuse it makes you realize that these are real people with real lives.
Zeddie Watkins Little, more popularly known around the Internet as the Ridiculously Photogenic Guy, went on Good Morning America today to discuss his newfound fame. Will King, the photographer who took the now infamous photo, also joined Zeddie in the interview and discussed how his random photo blew up into the week’s biggest meme.
The Ridiculously Photogenic Guy’s as humble and as perfect as you imagine him to be when you’re looking at all his hilarious memes. While he didn’t see this fame coming when he signed up to run the Cooper River Bridge Run, he says he’s excited to a part of something so positive on the Internet. As someone who spends their day trolling some of the darkest corners of the Internet, I know exactly where he’s coming from.
Considering that most Internet trends tend to be a little mean-spirited, it is nice to see one that’s coming from the heart. Seriously, the actual heart. Women and men are going crazy for this guy and everyone agrees that he truly is ridiculously photogenic.
The best part of the video? He’s running the New York Marathon this fall so there’s a lot more opportunities to snap another photo of him running. Here’s to hoping that he looks just as good.
