Heidi Klum Officially Files For Divorce, Now You Can Officially Give Up On Love

Their kids have more than two months to stage a Parent Trap like love-rekindling, but it looks like Heidi Klum and Seal’s marriage is officially over. Heidi filed for divorce Friday afternoon citing irreconcilable differences (so unoriginal) and the world looked on sadly as we listened to “Kiss From A Rose” softy in the background.

From the first announcement of their separation this past January it’s appeared the split was been fairly peaceful, with their statement explaining, “This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority.” Heidi is seeking custody of their children, but at least now it looks like there won’t be any fighting over money; they’ve already settled on who gets what as far as their property goes.

With so many celebrity divorces turning nasty lately from the heated custody battle between Halle Berry and her ex to the name calling between Kelsey and Camille Grammer, it’s nice to see a celeb divorce go smoothly. It’s not as good as the pair reuniting for fifty more years of vow renewals and epic Halloween parties, but it’s something.
