As you may have read in the news lately, giant pandas are in some serious trouble. Half of their (already small) natural habitat is expected to be gone in a mere 70 years due to climate change, and their population is already dangerously low. Oh no! What can be done to help? Breeding and studying lots of pandas in captivity, for starters. This, of course, means lots of adorable baby pandas, which is never a bad thing. Let’s gaze lovingly upon some photos of baby giant pandas, for in addition to turning our hearts to marshmallows, they represent hope for the survival of their species.
