As we’ve seen through the ingenious genre switching trailer mash-up, anything can seem ominous when set to the right music, even Mary Poppins. So maybe it’s not the actual stretching of Lindsay Lohan’s face or her hair’s ever changing color that makes this clip unnerving, it’s just the soundtrack.
It would be easy to look at this video and think where has the adorable Parent Trap girl gone? but even without Lindsay’s partying and love affair with blond hair dye, she would have grown up. With her probation over, a possible upcoming guest spot on Glee (and a return to her natural hair color) Lindsay has a good chance of making a come back, but even with her career back on track, her face will age and change, taking her farther away from the freckle-faced twelve-year-old we were introduced to. It’s a natural evolution, and not nearly as scary as this clip would suggest.
